Would you enjoy living and working aboard the International Space Station?

I thing that maybe work at International Space Station could be interesting, because if I stay here I can know about a lot of thing of the space and look so much interesting and classified information, and see how look the earth since the space, but I don´t really enjoy this kind of work and I don´t endure to be so many time in a separate place, I thing that maybe I´m a kind of claustrophobic so I will be so much desperate if I stay for at time there, and I prefer to have contact whit the people so this work it is not to me. Maybe I could see all the this that happen in the International Space Station since a screen, in my house but never stay here.

Talk about how you choose the school you attend or the class you are taking. how did you make the choice, and do you regret any of your decisions? 

Well, since I was kid, I like TEC, my mom was in this school and she told me that it was a great university. TEC is around my house so I think that it was a good decision to make my higher education here and I like TEC because it give you so much extra-curricular activities like championships sport of basket, soccer, tochito and someone else. When I was thinking about the school that I search a school that promote values and I think that this school promote them so well.

I think that the level of the classes of TEC are in a good level, like anothers school in a first word countries, thats the principal factor that I choose the school.

A) Tell your patners about the form of transportation you or your family members use for the activities in the box.

I go to school walk because the school is near of my house, but when I go to visit friends or to shoping I need to go in a car, sometimes my father can carry me to the places that I need to go, but other times I have to ask a friend if I can go whit him. My mother dont have so much activities outside of the house but when she need use her car, and my father too, he have one car to go to work.

B) With your parnet, make a chart and list some of the positive and negative aspects of the form of transportation you mentioned in exercise A.

WALK: positive aspects: It serves like excersices, you can go looking all the thing that are in the city and go walk serves to think in your own thinks.
negatives: sometimes is so tired, and take a lot of time to go to another place and you dont enjoy when the weather is rainy or so hot.

GO ON CAR:positive aspects: Is most easy to go to another place so much faster and it does matter if the day is rainy or hot
negative: We can accustom to dont walk or dont make excercise, and the car contaminate so much.

A) How would you improve the transportation system in your city? write a letter to the editor of a newspaper explaining your ideas. Begin your letter "Dear editor". End it with "Sincerely" and sing your name.

Dear Editor: My name is Tomas A. Mendoza A. and I write this card to explain my ideas about a best transportation system.
Well I think that one of the most biggers problems about this city (problem of transportation) is because there are a lot of cars and the city is so big so the people have to travel biggers distance to go to there jobs so it means that the time in the cars are much and much time in car means much car at streets and much traffic I think that the best solution of transportation could be a more public transportation and less expensive, it means that one public transport could transport a significative number of people that could travel by car, it promote less cars and by consecuence less traffic and best circulation at the streets. Other think that could help the problems of circulation could be build more in vertical form and dont extend more the city, so the people can travel less to go to her jobs or visit his families.

H.W. 2.5 Imagine your group is in charge of planning a new piece of public art of the area near your school. Discuss the questions.

1.What kind of art will you have: a mural, sculpture, stained glass window, or something else?

2.Where will the art be located, and why is it a good location for the art?

The piece of art that I put near to the school can be a sculpture, because can be out and it does matter and if will be another kind of art should be impaired. Maybe in the sculpture I put something that show the values of the Tec or something about Garza Sada that are thing that identify all the Monterrey people and specify all the students from Tec.

I thing that maybe one good place to put the new piece of art could be at the roundabout that is out of the door of Tec that is in front of "rectoria", and I think that this place could be a good location because a lot of cars and persons transit, in this place, every days, so much people can see and another good thing is because is near at Tec so we can put something whit can be identify to the students.

The author of this piece of art (architecture type of art) is Frank Lloyd Wright, he born in Pheonix at 1867 year, I was one of the most bigger exponents of the architecture of USA at the XX century. I was one of the first architect that boost the organic architecture and he boost the "Usoniano" concept, that is one typology of architecture that we can see in the USA houses, this typology is known to have so many space for yard in fact in so many houses of this type there don't have perimeter fence, there are in directly connection whit the environment that is in a big wild space or minimum whit a big place whit grass. This typology of houses is famous because use big glass walls an specifics materials like brick and concrete.

This house was make it in Fayette, Pennsylvania (EUA). at 1936-1939 years and is so famous to all the architects students, one of the most bigger likes are that the house are building over a nature waterfall leading to a beautiful lake, other think that is awesome about the house is that some of here walls are building with local stone that was removed to the floor when the when the foundations were being made so the house harmonizes with the environment.

The place that I choose is a suburb that is located in the rich part of the city at "valle" suburb. this is a good location because in this part of the city there are so many young people, and this young have money to pay a survival school, and maybe we can think that the rich people aren't intrested in outdoor activities. in the suburbs of "valle" are so many parks so the young people can learn in this parks to prepare to a outdoor camp.

In the school of survival the people can learn so many thing like how to make a bonfire and how to use a different types of knives, other think that cant learn is how to make different types of knots and techniques of survival.

Maybe one emergency situation that could happen at tec, could be a flood, and in that situation I try to go to the most high floors of the building, because are the last floors to flood. other think that I try to do at this situation is check if the internet work to request to some profecional help, and I can order from my wathsapp.
